Coming from a family of artists and being involved in various art forms my whole life, I know at least what it takes to be great. Whether it's martial arts or music, the mark of talent, I've found, is the ability to produce quality product at any moment. When Chris Murray of Matic Music PG invited Culture Toronto to the Music mansion to check out Pluto, Paul and I had no idea what we were in store for...

The Music Mansion


The place we interviewed in is aptly called the Music Mansion, having been owned by both Tina Turner and Mic Jagger at different times. In one mansion, "The Envy," a musical band signed to Gene Simmons (Kiss) works and a studio called the Verge Music Lab headed by Steve Major and with ties to XM sirius radio is always hard at mixing. A number of musicians and music industry pros work within the mansion as well such as vocal instructor Abraham Falconer who's worked with artists like Melanie Fiona, Snow, Andreena Mills, Linda Luztono, Pluto and many more. You can feel the history of great music making in the wood. "Are we making history?" I wondered...

Think of Adel having a love child with The Weekend; in terms of sound and direction,  that's Pluto. After a beautiful interview covering his inspiration behind the Jessica EP, haters and the advice he'd give to other artists, I had a random favour for Pluto and his team.
